IMPORTANT NEWS: Church change!

Due to ongoing construction at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral it has been necessary to change the venue (at very short notice!) to Sacred Heart Church in Cebu.

Nothing significant has changed. The service is at 13:15 hrs and it still takes around 45 minutes travel time from the Shangri-La Hotel. Pick-up times will remain the same, so this news really only impacts those making their own way to the church - make sure you go to Sacred Heart Church in Cebu. Thanks!

IMPORTANT NEWS: Those with reservations in Maribago Bluewater.

Bad news: There has been a mix-up with their reservations and all the people staying in Maribago Bluewater will transfer to another hotel at Bluewater's expense.

Good News: The hotel you'll now be staying at is Shangri-La Mactan. The cost is the same as what you would have paid in Bluewater, so you get an excellent deal. In order to facilitate this I made the payment for all accomodation (room fee only) to Bluewater, so on check-out of Shangri-La they will simply bill you for the additional costs incurred (such as meals). For those people paying their own room fee please pay Tere and I at some point (no hurry) - cash or peso or pound bank transfers/deposits are fine - details of room cost and bank account details on request. (aubrey@tektites.co.uk, tere@filfashion.com). For those whose rooms we are paying for, no action required.

Original bookings made in Shangri-La are not affected and the price is the same promotional price we were given by Shangri-La. Apologies to those who originally booked in Shangri-La, that now those who booked in Bluewater get an even better deal, but this was an unforeseen circumstance. The price you are paying for Shangri-La is still very good!

BUS TRAVEL

Travel from hotel to Sacred Heart Church and back to your hotel:

Details TBC. We have put on coaches from Shangri-La and these will leave the hotel at 11am. It is a 45 minute journey to Sacred Heart Church.

From Hilton - make your own way to the Shangri-La coach

From Days Inn - We'll swing by and pick you up at about 11.15. TBC.

From Cebu White Sands - We'll swing by the hotel at about 11:00. TBC.

If you miss the coach, then grab a taxi to Sacred Heart Church!

Evening travel from your hotel to Shangri-La and then home:

We will pick you up from Day's Hotel and Cebu White Sands at around 16:30 hrs. Our wedding planners will let you know the details on the bus, after the first pick-up.

Travel home after the party. As and when you need transport you can arrange it from the front of Shangri-La. No bus this time as we guess people will want to leave at different times.

MEAL AT MARIBAGO BLUEWATER ON 6th FEB

We are having a meal on the beach at Maribago Bluewater on the 6th Feb at 19:00 hrs. Please feel free to join us. We are putting on transport from Shangri-La between 18:00 hrs and 18:50hrs. We have a couple of cars/vans. Alternatively a taxi costs around 205 peso booked at Shangri-La.
