I always enjoy taking photos. My friends even call me ‘trigger happy’. Whenever we go on vacation, celebrate an occasion, or even in a simple gimik, I always have my camera with me. No memories left undocumented! Hehehe! I’m sure some of you now would be reacting that it’s so unlucky if you become my subject!
Anyway, when I found out about the travel photography for Palawan, I right away decided that I will definitely not let this opportunity pass. More so when I have learned about who will be conducting the workshop – Master Wig Tysmans! I got no more excuse to miss this.
I don’t have digital SLR nor have any technical knowledge on photography … But I didn’t mind. That’s why I was in the trip in the first place… to learn. I only use my Olympus and the free Samsung 760 for the whole workshop.
There are a lot of things I have learned and treasured from this activity… not only on learning photography and appreciating the beauty of Palawan… but also in camaraderie. The bunch is composed of really great people of different professions… but is united with one passion… Photography!
